Better fit:

Tremec retained the best features of the TKO while optimizing the housing. They switched from the old top-loading design to an end-loading design – similar to the extremely robust Magnum. This makes the TKX significantly stronger and more compact.

The new design enables smooth shifting at high speeds (up to 7,500 rpm) thanks to multi-cone synchronizers and hybrid synchronizers, while handling up to 600 lb-ft of torque .

• Stiffened, ribbed aluminum housing in 3 parts for stability and strength

• Extra-wide gears made of ASTM 4615 steel for maximum durability

• Seals on all flanges to prevent oil loss

• Needle bearing cages in all gear positions
