Custom Hurricane air conditioning system – complete system for Ford Mustang with original 260/289 V8 and three-phase alternator

Ready-to-install complete system with heating, cooling and defroster function – perfectly matched to the 65-66 Mustang with original 289/260 V8 engine.

Easy assembly:

The Hurricane unit is mounted directly to the firewall in place of the factory-installed heater. The A/C and heater connections run neatly through the original blower motor hole using a suitable rubber grommet.

The control unit is fully compatible with the original heating control panel (lever control).

The central air vent is discreetly mounted under the dashboard, complemented by custom-designed corner vents for optimal air distribution.

Maximum cooling capacity:

The capacitor package includes our aluminum Superkool capacitor with factory-style dryer and matching mounting brackets – for maximum efficiency and easy installation.

For original engine:

The Sanden compressor and its mounting bracket are installed on the driver's side of the original 260/289 V8 engine.

Important note: If your vehicle no longer has the original 260 / 289 V8 (model year 1965–66), please contact us before ordering.
