Prevents starting with a gear engaged and switches the contact to the reversing light in position "R".

To adjust the switch, engage neutral ("N"), loosen the two mounting screws of the neutral switch, and insert a thin drill bit into the opening in the neutral switch. Then tighten the mounting screws of the neutral switch.

Technical note: Ensure that the neutral switch wiring is not routed near the exhaust system. A common cause of failure is insufficient clearance from the hot exhaust, which can melt the cable insulation.

Suitable for Ford Mustang models from 1964 to 1966 (built before December 15, 1966) with C4 automatic transmission.
