Air filter hipo out of our own, Mustang 1964-1973
This SCOTT Drake air filter was specially developed for classic Fords with 289/302/551 engine that are equipped with larger ignition distributors such as HEISHOFISS GISE or other carburetor
From above it looks like a standard hipo air filter, but the base has a staggered opening. The opening is moved around 1/2 "backwards, the air filter is moved back towards the piping wall
Every kit contains a chrome-plated hipo air filter cover, a staggered base in Ford blue, an air filter element, an air filter bolt and a wing nut
This air filter works with the most 2 V and 4 V carbureters from Holley, Autolite, Edelbrock ...
Note: The base has no PCV connection
