The muffler inlet is on the side, the outlet in the middle (see photo). Therefore, it is usually necessary to install the rear brake hose for the original 2-pipe exhaust system (GT) on the 64-66 models

For installation in a convertible, the exhaust system must be modified and the bolted reinforcement plate under the seats must be set a little lower, not suitable for the convertible without modifications!
