The muffler's inlet is on the side, the outlet is centered (see photo). Therefore, it is usually necessary to install the rear brake hose for the original 2-pipe exhaust system (GT) on the 64-66 models

For installation in a convertible, the exhaust system must be modified and the bolted reinforcement plate under the seats must be set slightly lower, not suitable for the convertible without modifications!

With minimal changes, the exhaust system also fits the Mustang 1971 to 1973
