Magnetic switch for the original starter
Establishes the electrical connection between the battery and the starter as soon as you turn the ignition key.
It sits on the firewall next to the battery and switches the voltage to the starter motor.
Mounting bracket already pre-assembled
The magnetic switch gets its ground via the firewall, therefore it is advisable to remove some paint/rust from the area around the mounting screws when installing the new magnetic switch.
When screwing the cables together, it is advisable to hold the inner lock nut in place with a wrench, otherwise the contacts in the magnetic switch may twist.
